Glowing tributes have been paid to Roscommon businessman Donal Haughey who died suddenly on Saturday last. Mr Haughey, a qualified engineer from Correal, Athleague, set up his own business, Roscommon Windows, in 2012. Various online tributes have described him as “an obliging gentleman” and “a truly hardworking decent man” who “provided excellent service”. Roscommon Leader Partnership has extended deepest sympathy to the family, friends and work colleagues of the late Mr Haughey. “Donal passed away at the weekend and will be known to so many people throughout the county and the country for his award-winning work with the company he set up in 2012 – Roscommon Windows.
